2. Affordable Spay/Neuter Programs – What programs are out there and how to put together programs in your area. Including vacation clinics.

3. Director of a no-kill shelter – How they got started as well as the services they provide to the general public. The general ins and outs of running a no kill shelter and how we can open more of them.

4. Director of a city Shelter that does euthanize – The ins and outs of City Run shelters, Animal euthanasia , problems they have as well as solutions they have come up with that they would like to share. How the public can help, some opportunities exist to volunteer from the comfort of your home for people who have social networking skills.

5. Urgent Animals in the DFW area – Euthanasia lists for DFW area animals. How these programs started, the purpose of them and how people can volunteer to help the animals on these lists.

6. Metroport Humane Society – A rescue without walls. This is a solely volunteer project with animals in foster care by volunteers and posted on a group site. Will highlight the group as a model to start other such rescues as well as the help they provide their community.

7. The students at the Art Institute of Dallas and their class film Projects – This program is to let nonprofits in the DFW area know about the resources that The Art Institute of Dallas offers to this area. How Nonprofits can submit their project ideas for students to vote on which topics they chose to cover. How they work with the chosen nonprofit and subject for the length of their class. From the submission of the ideas to completed project.

8. Animal transport groups – What they do and why they exist. How private citizens who own private airplanes are volunteering their time and energy to help animals in shelters get adopted and to transport animals in emergency evacuations like major hurricanes or fires.

The outside Cat Pen is Finished and Occupied!

The cats were a little afraid at first but now they love it and climb all over the place!

We used welded wire on the ground under the pen to keep out predators.

Please contact us if you would like to visit with any of the cats we have for adoption.
The fees for adoption are $45 for females, which includes spaying and a rabies shot and $35 for males which includes neutering and a rabies shot.
