Affordable Spay and Neuter Programs

The Shade Garden Project

We are happy to announce a new project with
The Bloom Cottage!

The Justin Animal Alliance is excited to introduce The Shade Garden, our new Fundraising project.

The 75 ft x 20 ft  shade garden will be planted just to the west of the dog pens on our 7 acre rescue and will be designed to provide the dogs with much needed protection during the long hot summer months, as well as a comfortable area for visitors spending time with the animals, and a resting spot for volunteers.

The garden will include Native Texas Trees and shrubs, perennial beds, benches, a firepit, and paved walkway.

The Bloom Cottage is looking forward to developing the shade garden and providing the products and services needed for the project.  The fence around the garden will be installed by Well-Done Landscaping.

These funds will go directly towards the construction of the garden as well as improvements at the rescue.   These funds will also help us with services to the general public such as micro chipping, low cost vaccinations and our future spay/neuter clinic.

Donations can be made by purchasing items for the shade garden or simply contributing to the project.

A Chip in has been created for donations of any amount. http://justinanimalalliance.chipin.com/the-shade-garden

Project Letter

Dear Community Member,

The Justin Animal Alliance is a nonprofit animals rescue that pulls animals off city shelter euthanasia lists, that was started in December 2010 after finding a starving homeless dog on Sam Reynolds road in Justin, Texas.

We had a public service announcement made asking people not to abandon animals in the country and three public service announcements asking people to spay and neuter their animals. We do a yearly fundraiser for residents of Justin and the surrounding areas, to help those in financial need spay and neuter their Dogs and Cats. This weeklong benefit also emphasizes the importance of spaying and neutering. Anyone in search of low cost spay/neuter and vaccination information may contact us for a referral.

We work with local high school students to help them get the volunteer hours they need for college and work with probation officers to provide community service hours for people who have to preform a service for the community.

The Rescue is located on 7.62 acres in a ranch community that allows 25 animals per acre. This is a privately run no kill Animal Welfare Organization, that relies solely on donations and volunteers. We pull both cats and dogs from city shelter euthanasia lists, vet them and then adopt them out at cost. Our animals are spayed/neutered and then adopted. They are on Petfinder, Adopt a Pet.com and we have adoption events through the area at different locations.

The Justin Animal Alliance is seeking community participation for our 7 acre rescue.  We invite you to become involved in our rescue by leaving a lasting legacy with a personalized engraved brick with your own commemorative words. The bricks will line the walkway into the Shade Garden.

You may also purchase an Oak, Maple or Pecan tree to help beautify the rescue and shade the dogs in the long hot summer months.  Choose from three different size trees to personalize with a commemorative plaque.

This is a great opportunity for you to:

• Recognize you or your company.
• Memorialize a family member or friend
• Celebrate your loved ones names in stone, for Graduation, Birthdays, Anniversaries, and other Special Events.
• Honor your father, your mother, and/or your children with a gift that will last throughout the years.
• Honor a favorite teacher or mentor.

All donations are fully tax-deductable.

Join us as we create a garden to enjoy now and for future generations to come.

These funds will go directly towards the construction of the garden as well as improvements at the rescue.  These funds will also help us with services to the general public such as micro chipping, low cost vaccinations and our future spay/neuter clinic.

If you wish to make a donation please visit us online for options.   We are on Facebook or you may Google us.

We appreciate your support in helping us save lives.

Sincerely,

The Justin Animal Alliance
