What is a Volunteer Coordinator?
We have a volunteer position at our
rescue for Volunteer Coordinators. Volunteer Coordinators help with
many aspects of the rescue.
VC
duties include but are not limited to;
Welcoming
new volunteers, Coordinating and assisting with volunteer training,
Obtaining volunteer release forms for all new volunteers
Creating,
coordinating, scheduling and communicating assignments to ensure
proper coverage is provided for volunteer days at the rescue as well
as adoption events and various activities.
Developing
and coordinating volunteer appreciation events.
Updating
and maintaining adoption sites; Petfinder, Adopt-A-Pet.com,
Petango, RescueMe.org
and Facebook.
Take
pictures of the animals at the rescue and post them to JAA's adoption
sites.
This
is a non paying at will volunteer position, on the VC's time
schedule.
