Snowball was adopted today. 12-6-18
Snowball's new adopter is a former vet tech and has had experience with adopting an un-socialized dog.
She promises to keep us up to date on Snowball's progress.
To start the day Snowball went to the vet to get her shots updated, heart worm meds etc. She was afraid but did very well. She never growled at the vet techs and was basically very good. Very scared but very good.
Snowball went straight from the vet to her new home. She now has a new name, Martha Stewart, a new mommy and a new dog brother, Fletcher.
We are happy for Martha and this new chapter of her life!
Background: Martha Stewart, formally known as Snowball, and her siblings were pulled from the Fort Worth Animal Shelter. They were on the euthanasia list because they were lacking in human socialization. Originally there were 6 siblings. One was adopted while they were at the shelter. The other 5 eventually went on the euthanasia list.
We are not sure of their story but feel maybe they were an unwanted litter just left on their own in the back yard.
